Serving as an itinerant preacher for the Methodist Episcopal Church for 56 years, Glezen Fillmore traveled a frontier circuit that included 28 sites in an area covering 1200 square miles in western New York - from North Tonawanda, south to Silver Creek, east to Pike, north to Elba, then back to Tonawanda. He was the husband of Lavina Atwell and a cousin of President Millard Fillmore.
