McLoskey Farm, Alexander, NY

Irish-born Phillip McLoskey of Mobile, Alabama, had this house built in the 1830's in Alexander, New York reportedly as a place for his four children to live to escape yellow fever.  They and their descendants continued to occupy the house that still stands today, on and off for the next 120 years.
